vitralogo

Vitra is a Swiss family-owned company. It not only makes furniture and creates retail environments, but also has its own Campus with buildings by leading international architects.

Vitra sees designers not simply as contractors but as authors. The relationship of trust between these authors from all corners of the world and Vitra, who shares their ambitions, is at the very heart of the company’s product development process. Collaborations are always a subtle synthesis of artistic freedom, production know-how and industry knowledge. This philosophy has shaped the company’s culture since its early partnerships with seminal designers like Charles & Ray Eames and George Nelson.

artek

Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen, and Nils-Gustav Hahl. Their goal was “to sell furniture and to promote a modern culture of living by exhibitions and other educational means.”

In keeping with the radical spirit of its founders, Artek today remains an innovative player in the world of modern design, developing new products at the intersection of design, architecture, and art.

The Artek collection consists of furniture, lighting, and accessories designed by Finnish masters and leading international designers. It stands for clarity, functionality, and poetic simplicity.

artemide-logo

Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, Artemide is based in Pregnana Milanese, Italy. At Artemide, technological research, partnerships with outstanding architects, as well as sociocultural investigation have been from the outset at the origin of innovative projects capable to illuminate the future with unabated power.

Today the Artemide collections convey a unique mix of values: the approach to human and responsible light goes hand-in-hand with design and material savoir faire, combining next-generation technology with ancient wisdoms.

Gandiablasco-Logo-Black-(WEB)

Gandiablasco was established in 1941 as a family business manufacturing blankets that developed into the textile industry, specifically carpets. In 1996, José A. Gandia-Blasco took over his father’s company and began to develop an outdoor furniture collection. Now, exclusively producing outdoor furniture, and collaborating with numerous designers from all over the globe, their philosophy remains: to always produce designs that combine the biggest comfort in functionality while maintaining an extremely high aesthetic component.

gan

In 2004, José A. Gandia-Blasco began shaping a new brand called GAN, that grouped together all of Gandiablasco’s textile productions. GAN is an interior design concept based around handmade objects, with its own identity, and at the same time very close to Gandiablsco – both share a tireless curiosity to explore new techniques and designs.

Logo-Fantini

Fantini is a typical example of an Italian design factory, a family business established in 1947 by brothers Giovanni and Ersilio Fantini, a place with immense creative intensity that manages to combine great hand-crafting skill with industrial technology and processes.

Fantini is in Pella, on the shores of Lake Orta, a small lake set among the mountains of Piedmont: it’s a sort of genius loci, an ideal location where the constant presence of water and the serene atmosphere it creates are the premises for work and creativity.

Water, so constantly present in the everyday life of the company, is the underlying theme of its history that is based on a number of fundamental values: passion for work, ethics, professionalism and respect for people.

diabla

We’re the sort of people who spend more time outside the house than inside. We like the beach, the countryside, a terrace or an urban park. Even better if the weather is good. But if it isn’t, we don’t let it spoil our day.

We have an open, enthusiastic and cosmopolitan approach to life in the open air, so we never stop thinking about new formulas for enjoying outdoor living in all kinds of environments and surroundings at any time of year, whatever the weather.

Logo Danese Milano

From its very foundation in the 1950s, Danese Milano has been a company that adds value to space. It does this thanks to the innovative and striking objects that it produces. The spirit of the times and the focus on the needs and desires of the human being are reflected in the importance that the company gives to the selection of the designers it chooses to work with. The quality of the materials it uses and the shapes that it has created to date go beyond passing seasonal trends.
